Laveda – with special guest Elemantra
Friday • September 19th | doors at 7:00pm | $13. | 21+ with physical, valid ID
Brooklyn-based LAVEDA showcases compelling melodies and ever-growing ambient soundscapes that recall bright memories of childhood and present uncertainty. Laveda’s ‘A Place You Grew Up In’ is a time-capsule of its inception period, exploring a range of themes from the loss of innocence to the struggles of coming to grips with reality.
“…inspired by a diverse range of influences including ‘90s alt rock touchstones like The Sundays, the slacker rock guitars of Pavement, and the adventurous production of Low. Simultaneously, the band also explores themes of lost innocence and an uncertain collective future.” – Under the Radar
“With lush harmonies and shoegaze textures, their songs completely envelop you. Definitely a must-listen for fans of Beach House, Slowdive, and Tennis.” – BuffaBLOG
Opening is the dreamy, somber, and shoe-gazing Elemantra – a four piece indie rock band from Buffalo!
