All welcome to our monthly open DJ nite: beginners, casual selectors, pros & people just there to listen & hangout. Selection over perfection.

Bring your music and share your mixes at Open Deck Night. We supply the sound system, mixer & the turntables, you bring your own records and headphones (please).

Bring your favorite music and share your mixes. Any type of music is welcome for a 20-min set. Play ( 2-minute punk songs, play (2) 10-minute disco bangers… and anything in-between! Come early and sign-up in-person for a slot. Remember: play & stay. Vinyl Only!

 

SPIN Open Decks Night: Guidelines

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new or experienced. If you need help with the equipment, just ask—we’re here to help. These simple guidelines will help the event go smoothly and build our community.

1) Headphones: Please bring your own headphones. Make sure they have a 1/4″ input jack to plug into the DJ mixer.

2) Handle With Care: Please do not unplug or reconfigure the gear.

3) No Redlining: Keep the Gain just touching the red, and keep the volume at a reasonable level.

4) Respect Your Time Slot: Please finish your set on time so the next DJ can start right away.

5) No Double Sets: If the next slot is open, we’ll move everyone up to fill the gap.

6) No Sign-up & Leave: Please don’t sign up, leave, and come back for your spot. We’re trying to build a community (See #5). If we move spots up, you may miss your time slot!

7) Play & Stay: Please do not leave immediately after your set; let’s support other DJs by listening to their music!

Bring Supporters: Invite your friends to come and support you. It helps grow our community.

9) Support Revolution Gallery: Open Decks Night is free to join, so let’s support the Gallery by buying a drink from the bar (alcoholic/non alcoholic) or purchasing ART!
