Dub music has always had a vibe revolving around bass, lo fi sounds and a heavily echoed and spacey kind of sound so I’m leaning heavily into the trippy space theme.

The theme is analog radio transmissions focused around a blend of 60s, 70s and 80s reggae rooted dub along with modern dub ambient/techno. Lots of analog bass and dreamy synth sounds. Throughout the night there are sound bites and clips from Apollo era NASA transmissions, old sci-fi tv and movies. I have a small turntable that I’m using to cue up sounds from old 45s and LPs, giving it that grime and texture.
