Guitarist Joseph Mahfoud used the pandemic lockdown as an opportunity to rebuild his classical training and refined his latent talent to emerge as a solo nylon-string guitarist. He has amassed a wide repertoire which juxtaposes modern virtuoso arrangements of rock tunes against historical masterpiece compositions.

The program will include 2 sets with arrangements of Queen’s “Killer Queen” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” each of which, leaves no detail untouched as well as Browers’ “Ultimate Tremolo” and Domeniconi’s “Koyunbaba” and many more. Mahfound will present brief explanations of the most pertinent aspect of the pieces and a foray into many other recognizable popular arrangements
