Doors open at 5:00pm, and the Kings Highwaymen play from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Guinness tasting and Irish pub fare available, too! After, stay for a listening get together in the lounge of playlists from alternative Irish bands.
Kings Highwaymen will be featuring many pub standards, classic tunes, music from The Pogues, and original music. It will be a loud, energized time featuring great Irish music to celebrate the start of Saint Patrick’s weekend.
Kings Highwaymen is a blend of Irish traditional and modern rock. The band formed in early 2022 over Reddit when Buffalo punk rock veterans connected with some younger classical music educators, all with an interest in the sounds of Ireland.
Since then, they have played several shows around Buffalo featuring many pub standards, classic tunes, and original music. They have even been called “Buffalo’s Hottest New Band” on WYRK. Kings Highwaymen are currently working on recording a mini-album.
