The Lounge at Revolution Gallery presents Scozzaro – Goehle – Kelly Trio -Thursday, May 20th for a night of live jazz. Great art, drinks, and music. Doors at 7:00pm • $10. at the door.
The trio will present a highly curated selection of songs by legendary saxophone icon Sonny Rollins.
Mr. Rollins became an early champion of the “chord-less trio” format beginning in the mid to late 1950’s, recording several seminal trio albums including “Way Out West” with Ray Brown & Shelly Manne, “A Night at the Village Vanguard” featuring bassists Donald Bailey/Wilbur Ware & drummers Pete LaRoca/Elvin Jones and “The Freedom Suite” with Oscar Pettiford & Max Roach. He continued to perform in the trio format through the mid-1960’s while touring Europe with notable sidemen, Henry Grimes, Bob Cranshaw, Kenny Clarke & Roy Haynes.

Masks may be removed when visitors are seated at their designated table to enjoy their drinks and food.
