Members of the Hot Club of Buffalo are hosting a concert to showcase the rare talents of Marc Lingle, a master of Django style guitar. Marc has been in Buffalo for a short time and is moving away soon so here is a chance to see a rare talent!

Marc Lingle is both a performer of gypsy jazz, classical, flamenco, fusion, and rock guitar, as well as an emergency medicine physician and epidemiologist. Prior to beginning medical school, he finished a music performance degree at Arizona State University. He is well-known and highly regarded in the gypsy jazz international community. Known by his first and middle name, Marcelo Damon, he has played at festivals throughout the US and Europe and published two books on pedagogy and repertoire.
He plays a 1942 Selmer Modèle Jazz, made around the same time as Django Reinhardt’s prized Selmer
