A Virtual Tasting Series

As part of our “Midwinter Melancholia” series – join us for a delicious endeavor to alleviate the gray doldrums of January and February!
Revolution Gallery Lounge presents a virtual wine and cheese tasting series with Mark Strassel of M.S. Walker (January 27th – Wines of Spain and Portugal), Eric Frick of Cuvée Imports (February 3rd – Native Grape Varietals of France and Italy), and Sandra Stimers of Opici (February 10th – Pinot Noir and Gamays).
Each two-hour program explores these wine-cheese pairing possibilities, and has a sampling of five wines and five cheeses. Learn about creating tastings of this classic combo.
Each program in the series is virtual; participants need to prepay for the event by noon on Wednesday, January 27th for that program, and the day before the event for the remaining two programs (February 1st / February 8th). There will be friendly reminders on social media when the deadlines are approaching. The first tasting (January 27th) will be a recorded event, available on our website. A link the day of the event will be provided so you may watch and enjoy your wine and cheese at your leisure.
The final two tastings (on February 3rd and on the 10th) will be Zoom events – allowing you to participate with others in a live virtual experience.
Each participant will pickup their prepaid wine and cheese package by 5:30pm the day of their scheduled event. See the details HERE for the Wednesday, January 27th event. You will be reminded by email to do so. Each package include 4 oz. tastings of each of the wines, cheeses, bread, accompaniments for each region, a sweet treat, and a checklist note sheet to jot down thoughts during your tasting. Also, as a thank you to our participants, a 5″ x 7″ matted print from the gallery is also included.
PARTICIPANTS NEED TO PREPAY for their program before their event A text or email will be sent confirming your spot in this pairing class. Masks (properly worn) are required when picking up your wine and cheese package.
